Cos Bar at Target nail polish swatch and review

Hello all! I have recently picked up a few polishes at target, today I will be showing you one from Cos Bar at Target. This is Bronze, according to vampy varnish, but I think she made up those names, so I will just tell you the number on the bottom of the bottle 206701. This is a bronze with red, yellow and orange reflective particles that make it appear lit from within, like a flame going down the middle. This polish appears beautiful in all lights! There are many things that I do not like, here is a list-
  • Small bottle, .33 oz.
  • Tricky bottle cap, short and square
  • Wonky brush
  • Awful formula, it is runny and drags.
  • No names
The things I like!
  • Unique colors
  • Easy access
  • Quite inexpensive
This is all in all not a very good product, but you get what you paid for! Here are the pictures, all taken in partial sunlight.

An Announcement and my NOTD

Hello! Happy Monday (not) I hope all is going well and that today will go smoothly for all of you! I am having a hard time reaching 20 followers but am quickly approaching 500 pageviews, so the giveaway will be held at whichever comes first. I have decided what I am giving away, so stay tuned!
Today's manicure is a smoky teal shimmer from the color craze collection from Wet n Wild. I found a set with five color craze nail polishes in it at Dollar General! This is Morbid from the collection, a beautiful smoked out teal shimmer. Under low light it looks like black with shimmer, but in sunlight it is so pretty! Here are the pictures. Please excuse the horrid shirnkage from Seche Vite, I am getting a new topcoat soon.

It's sunny, what does that mean? Duochrome!

Hello fellow friends, what a lovely polish I have for you today. This is a duo/multi chrome polish that 'blinded' my soccer team, haha. Just Spotted The Lizard is the alias that this polish goes by, a beautiful one that changes from green to gold to yellow, almost a dupe a Chanel Peridot, close enough for me not to lem that anymore! This polish was released under the collection Spiderman which by the way was an amazing collection! Anyway, onto the pictures!

My Favorite Polish Ever!

This polish I picked up at claire's for five dollars!! It was love at first sight, from it's curvacious bottle, to it's multi-faceted personalities, to it's humility, I must have it. This pretty flashes every color in the rainbow, with a green jelly base with predominatly purple flashes with a few pink, yellow and orange every now and then. I think that Claire's Venomous has three duplicates that I know of, Orly Space Cadet, Hard Candy beetle, and MAC bad fairy, *I think* But it's formula has something lacking, three coats later, and I still have slight VNL, it was quite watery actually, and pooled into my cutes, so cleanup was required. I just have to tell you that this polish is amazing, and if you can't find it, HC beetle and Orly SC are fairly easy to find, and just as good.
You may have not noticed, but I changed the design a little, please let me know how you feel about, because I think it is quite girly, maybe a little bit too girly :/  I know that I have far too many pictures, but this baby deserves centerfold!

NOTD Neon!!

Good afternoon my friends, today I have for you a bright pink neon from the China Glaze Summer Neons collection in the color Surfin For Boys, just so you know, I am head over heels for the color and the name. I picked this up at Sally's with I'm with the Lifeguard, a neon chartreuce with shimmer.  I have a feeling already that neons and pastels will be very trendy this summer because of all of the nail polish companies putting so many out! Now all I am waiting on is another collection like Holiday on Broadway by OPI, those are the kind of collections that are popular with almost everyone. On my toesies right now is another neon green, Sinful Colors Innocent with a bit of nail art, nothing special. I have had so much fun on my mission trip with my church and did a lot of good. Soon will be many tutorials of interesting nail art and methods to make up for my hiatus. But now for today I will just be showing you my manicure. This polish is impossible to photograph!! But I believe that all neons are. This is a neon pink with slight shimmer that just appears to make the polish glow, and gives a blue hue. It took about 2 and a half coats for full opacity and I just love it!!

Temporary Hiatus Warning!!

I will be gone from 6-15-12 to 6-21-12 on a mission trip with my church! We are going to Archibald, Louisiana! I am so excited and I will definetly be back with some great posts! I am sorry that I have to leave but I will be back soon, and my manicure for the trip is Essie, we can do it pink! From the breast cancer solo release back in 2010, I got it in a clearance bin in ulta, it was my first essie :) Thank you so much for understanding and I will be back shortly!

Fairy Nails!

Hi! I just finished a 6 hour garage sale and am wiped out! But I still have a post for you! This is pure ice platinum, a frosty silver that I picked up for stamping but it turned out too sheer, so I did three coats here, I do not think you can find it at walmart anymore, but you may. For the glitter, I used another pure ice polish in spitfire which is somewhat like OPI Teenage Dream but a bit more sheer. The gradient process is the same as the one in this post, a tut is coming soon! Anyway, I finally figured out how to take macros! Let me know how you like them!
