Happy late fourth!

Hello! Yesterday I was having so much fun popping fireworks, it totally escaped my mind to blog! So here are the pictures! And I have gotten 500 pageviews so the giveaway will be announced tomorrow!

For all of the fingers except the water marble I used Finger Paints Curator's Crimson and Nails Inc. Baker Street for the dots, for the marble I used Revlon Devilish and Nails Inc. Baker Street.

Quick stamping

Hello All! I have got a quick post for you today, this is a stamping inspired by *I think* dot_warner on MUA. After another day at the pool, I have severe tipwear, so this mani only lasted a day :( I used a konad plate and Borghese Capri Coral, a jelly creme hybrid and NYX girls ink heart, another jelly creme hybrid! This came out just as I was hoping! It was fun, but my stamping skills are lacking! I really need to practice more! Oh, and sorry about the CVS label cemented on, I could not for the life of me get it off! Thanks for reading and have a great weekend :)

Happy Floam!

Today's manicure I loved but it lasted about 3 hours :P
I started off with a new shape, pointy! I was inspired by the new trend especially on Lady GaGa (even though I don't like her) but mine were far too short to make them almond :( So I settled on pointy and short!
I have had issues with Seche Vite shrinking on me because I am waiting too long to apply it so I applied the polish then a slow-dry topcoat from rimmell then seche vite. It seemed to work pretty well until about 1 hour later. I noticed that the polish had completely slid off! Nothing left on my nail at all! All the other ones were still dentable about 3 hours later, so it came off immediately! I did love the color combo, though. The base was three coats of Revlon Passion Fruit (it smells amazing!) with one coat of Nail-venturous floam. Floam has flat, not reflective glitter yellow and green shades, I was lucky enough to be able to get my hands on this from Ninjapolish! Onto the pictures!

Hello all! I have been super busy for the last few days! But in the mean time, guess what finally came to me?!?!

CONNECT THE DOTS AHHHHH! Man, this girl has been mia for about.....8 weeks!L.L has a really inventive way of sending polishes out! Very confusing alphabet order :P
I have seen it layered over light colors and it looks amazing! It does really look better over creams.
I decided to layer it over Orly Snowcone from the Sweet Spring collection.

MOTD Glitter Gradient

                   Hello all! Today I have a glitter gradient using Nubar Night Sparkle and Wet n Wild black cream (we are talking holy grail status here!) This was my first gradient, and I was actually surprised at how easy it was! You simply take a regular makeup sponge, the wedge kind, then put the gradient color of choice on the edge of the sponge and dab dab dab all the way down to about 3/4 of your nail and..... voila!  Instant chic!
                  This glitter is one of the smoothest glitters out there! And it wears like iron! And don't get me started on WnW (wet n wild) black creme! It is a one coat, .99 cent polish, and it also wears like iron! Onto the pictures:

       Hello all! First off I want to introduce you to me! My name is Jenna Reddell and I have always had a passion for polish! This blog will not be all polish, but for the most part it will.        My Manicure Of The Day (MOTD) is Deborah Lippmann Ray of Light with Nubar 2010 over for some extra flakie oomph! This polish is something to talk about. It has a load of copper flakies suspended in a jelly base. I used one coat of Nutra Nail Kevlar strength basecoat and two coats of Ray of Light with one coat of Nubar 2010 and one coat of Out the Door Top Coat.
