Fishtail Braided nails!

Hello! Sorry that I have been MIA for the past few weeks I have had a lot going on! But I am here to make it up with a new braided nail trend!
This design I saw on Cutepolish's YouTube channel and it looked hard, but turned out to be an extremely simple design! You simply make overlapping alternating diagonal lines and you are left with a trendy very complicated looking design! This design looks best with a cream, shimmer and foil, that way there is more contrast. I used Rimmel Violet Metal, LA Colors foil no name and Wet n Wild I need a refresh-mint.

Finger Paints Magnetic Hipnotic

Hello all! Today is a polish I found on clearance at Sally's, it was $1.35(!) so I had to snatch it up! This is a fuschia/berry base with a glowing cool-toned pink as the design. I am a sucker for all colors like this, so this magnetic effect just adds onto the lem-all-berry-shades.
The magnet was easy to use, with a cuticle curve to rest on. I noticed that the magnet effect starts immediately, which is a plus. I had a few mishaps with the magnet touching my polish... the way I fix it (if it didn't completely butcher it) is finish the magnet, let it dry *completely* then touch up the spot and magnetize! Voila, perfect fix. I will be announcing the giveaway winner soon, and you may notice that I started watermarking and cropping my pictures, you guys deserved better!

Today's manicure I loved but it lasted about 3 hours :P
I started off with a new shape, pointy! I was inspired by the new trend especially on Lady GaGa (even though I don't like her) but mine were far too short to make them almond :( So I settled on pointy and short!
I have had issues with Seche Vite shrinking on me because I am waiting too long to apply it so I applied the polish then a slow-dry topcoat from rimmell then seche vite. It seemed to work pretty well until about 1 hour later. I noticed that the polish had completely slid off! Nothing left on my nail at all! All the other ones were still dentable about 3 hours later, so it came off immediately! I did love the color combo, though. The base was three coats of Revlon Passion Fruit (it smells amazing!) with one coat of Nail-venturous floam. Floam has flat, not reflective glitter yellow and green shades, I was lucky enough to be able to get my hands on this from Ninjapolish! Onto the pictures!

Hello! I have missed you guise! :)

                                              Hello all!! I have missed blogging :( I have been suuuper busy, but luckily, school is out. You should be expecting regular posts now! Today I am wearing Nina Ultra pro in purple-x-ing, maybe perplexing I dunno what they were going for..:P Anyway, this is a fine purple glitter with holo purple hexes in a purple jelly base, a breeze to apply. I barely needed any clean-up. This I picked up a sally's the other day with 'Like butta' and 'Leaf me alone' a green jelly! Yay! *squish squish* Here are the pictures, I intentionally blurred a few so you could see the holo. And all taken in sunlight!

MOTD China Glaze Bogie

Hello All! This last week I have been bombarded with school work!! But good news, I have a gorg polish for you today! Today's manicure is China Glaze Bogie, from the Vintage Vixen collection, winter 2010 or 2011.... For the past few days I have been rocking broken nails, nasty cuticles and a sheer pink, I am a real rockstar. But Bogie is a nice change. It is a shimmer, duo chrome maybe? In some lights it looks green, in some lights it looks purple and gray, a real shifter! Sorry for the messy cuticles, school hase been wrecking havoc on them!
